Our Bulls

Our Boys

Sire genetics are just as important as dam genetics. We look to the Feddes/C-T Red Angus Bull Sale for quality herd bulls. We have run two herb bulls the last couple years. Genetic diversification comes to us via artificial insemination & recently embryo transfers. We breed in April, which makes spring an exciting time for breeding match-ups. We strive for moderately framed cattle, who breed back to calve one year later. It’s important to us to balance growth of calves with calving ease. We prefer not to pull calves. Some of us favor a dark red hide, while others like the blonde bodies.

For the first time, we raised our own homegrown bull calves born in 2024 into mature, breeding soundness tested future sires. This is something we would do again when the right genetics & phenotypically strong bull calves strut our pastures.

These are our ongoing goals.
